Olamild: After featuring Ankara like no other by T & T Fashions, our viewers got hooked to this material. The demand was outrageous and we figured who best to feature that one who has ankara fetish; that prompted the interview with Ms Michelle Ogunbode Ceo of Miche Styles. The moment I set my eyes on Miche's website, I knew she'd be the perfect one to feature for the fashion sect. She was more than willing to share her love for bold wax prints. We asked...
What prompted your passion for fashion?
My passion for fashion is promoted by my love for trendy styles and bold wax print materials. I enjoy exclusivity; I enjoy being bold. In a society dominated by popular culture, I am continuously seeking new ways to rebel against the norm, yet remaining culturally chic and classy

.Tell us about Miche Styles
The Miche’ Styles Company was born from the creative intellect of Michelle Ogunbode and maternal inspiration. For over 15 years, my mother sold expensive lace material, a variety of head ties (Gele), and intricate jewelry, inspired the birth of Miche’ Styles. To test my entrepreneurship, my mother gave me a variety of Geles to sale. I sold Gele to church members and friends from the trunk of my car;
haha, humble beginnings. My success in this endeavor led me to develop Miche’ Styles in 2008.
There are numerous African fabrics; why ankara?
Ankara offers the versatility to be exceptional, exquisite, and exclusive at the same time. Compared to other materials (i.e. lace and linens), Ankara is easier to manipulate and more fun to play with. Ankara lends itself to the evolutionary changes occurring in the fashion world. Why limit yourself to basic cotton, silk, or polyester? Through Ankara, Miche’ Styles is modernizing the 21st century dressing.
Do you sell and design?
Miche’ Styles is your one-stop shop. We sell both Ankara and offer personal dress-designs consultations. We also have our own tailor, make-up artists, and accessories assistant on hand.
