Birth Name - REMILEKUN KHALID SAFARUSTATE-OGUN STATE
A Nigerian artist with a rising profile, Reminisce grew up in alagomeji, yaba lagos state. He attended Comprehensive High School,Ayetoro.Ogun State.then Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin,Kwara State where he obtained his O.N.D in Purchasing & Supply. He started professional recording in 2003 after he was discovered and properly nurtured by I.D. Cabasa,with the likes of 9ice,jahbless & 2phat.
He recorded an album which was never released. After he promoted 2 singles, he bowed out of music for three years to study the game properly.In 2008 he came back into the game wit a guest appearance on 9ice's GONGO ASO album, he dropped the first verse on the track BACHELOR'S LIFE, after which he released a single titled ONE CHANCE, a radio favorite & club banger. His most recent single is titled NIGBORO{on the streets}. His album is highly anticipated and ought to be released later in the year. We got a hold of Reminisce and here's what he had to say...
What inspired you to go into the music industry?
I have always had a passion for music, from childhood through to my adulthood.
What do you enjoy most about being an artist?
The Fame.
You worked with 9ice on bachelor's life, how was that experience?
Nothing extraordinary, because we were both discovered by I.D Cabasa at the same time. And at the moment, we are still pretty good friends.
Are you working on an album?
Yes, i am.
Tell us about it
It is actually ready and titled BOOK OF RAP STORIES(CHAPTER 1), with guest appearances by 9ice, Lord of Ajasa, Jahbless, I.D Cabasa, Sean Tero and Da Grin.
What are your future goals as a musician?
To eventually become a prolific songwriter.
